Re-released 1/48 Airfix EE Lightning - when??

Don't suppose anyone has any idea when this re-release might end up coming out? The internet doesn't seem to know but maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

People seem to suggest that it's a classic kit - but I'm not prepared to spend £££ on an old box one off eBay!

Funny enough the prices on e-bay are falling on this. I am waiting till its re released.

I'm just finishing the old kit will post pictures when complete and i believe the new kits out early next year same as the lynx

I saw recently that the new box art is complete and that it is in the 2012 Airfix calender. So might be a sign that its getting closer.

The Box art depicts a 92sq (I think) bird; Blue spine and tail, Yellow/red roundel flashes. Looked good anyway.

Anyone spotted that this has now been released? Not checked to see whether it's on the forum shop but seems to go for about £26-27. Will be buying myself one for Christmas I think! :-)
