    'Tornado 1' @ RAF Shawbury

Made a visit to RAF Shawbury to witness the 1st day of the Tornado retirement tour, Jets due at 1332, ran a little late. Listening to them talk to Shawbury advising they were going through RAF Cosford at 200ft, I was hoping they may have dropped lower for a fly through RAF Shawbury as an operational
station. we knew they were inbound when ATC closed all 'the gates' for the resident Helicopters, then out of the grey they appeared from Wenlock straight down Runway 36 at 200ft and then turned left and were gone. At least we got to see them for one last time. Anyway this is my favourite from the flypast, which took meticulous timing and skill lol.

I was there as well. I had hoped they might do a circuit, as it's an operational airfield, but still, it was nice to see them as briefly as we did.
