    Was there any Me 262 A-1a Jabo w/ 2x 250KG bombs?

Hey all, I need some hivemind help.

I can't find much info about the operating history of any Me 262 A-1a Jabo w/ 2x 250KG; I can find A-1s with rockets and even A-2a.
I believe the A-1a did operate, all be it limited, with 250kg bombs as they are said to have attacked the Lundendoeff bridge.

Any photos, books or anecdotes are welcome

    You mean like this?
Die Messerschmitt Me 262 gehört zu den bahnbrechenden Entwürfen im Flugzeugbau: blitzschnell, schwer bewaffnet – und wegweisend für das, was nach ihr kam.

There is a photo of one about half way down the page....

The book "ME262 A-1" In Close Up - published by Monogram has two pictures, both showing "bomb racks".
Page 5 of the same book also details additional - or "Rustsatze" equipment carried by the ME262 A-1 "Jabo".

If I get chance later I will try to scan copies & post them.

That photo is a lot clearer than the ones in the Monogram book - :thumb2: :thumb2:

You're welcome Alex. It was a pure lucky find. I was searching for bomb load outs for me Jag and this turned up in the results.
