    Seafire Seatbelts?

Im building the sea fire FR46/47 (at last) and don't want to fit the pilot in.
So where can I get aftermarket seatbelts for it, please, or can I?

Have a look on Eduard.com once there search 1/48 spitfire. Choose a late mk bubble top and you should be OK.

I'm finding this kit a bit awkward around the cockpit.:flushed:

Yup Bob, get some pictures up. A cockpit is like any other cockpit...you have your front desk(instument panel with sights), two side desks, a floor, side walls, a seat, control column stick(steering wheel). The trick on attaching seat belts is where the back ends disappear to.

                Cheers,
                Richard

Lol, I was outbid on the Eduard 1/48 FE981 Colour Steel Etch Seatbelts - Airfix Spitfire FR Mk XIV kit
That's why I was waiting to post any photos.
Don't think I'll bother with the seatbelts now, :smiling:

Whats your budget, Kamizukuri make some neat paper seatbelts. Just google Kamizukuri seat belts. They have both 1/48 and 1/72 standard seatbelts, English, Japanese and German.

                      Cheers,
                      Richard

The reason I was outbid Richard is not that I could'nt afford the ยฃ6 odd that they were going for, it's just I put a max bid of ยฃ4 and thought I'd leave it at t that, and thought that would do it.
I have spent quite a bit on Paints , putty etc ect plus the actual kits, just gotta keep my wallet happy and keep saving :smiling3:

I have a set of the Kamizukuri seatbelts and they look good. You'll be surprised that paper can substitute for metal buckles when painted in metal colors.

                          Cheers,
                          Richard

                            hHi, again Richard.
I can only see US Kamizukuri seatbelts when I google it.
Do you have a link to them in the UK, please?

I got mine when I was in Shizuoka. Will check my files if I still have the Passion Models catalog and web address. Passion are the distributors of Kamizukuri and would have been to UK for any big modelling events.

                              Cheers,
