Converting the 1/24 Airfix Spitfire MkVb to a PR MkIV?

Ok, I've met my soul mate: A spitfire in PRU blue. So much so in fact that I've stopped all work on other projects to practice on a Academy XIV, converting it to a P. R. I understand that the MkVb was later re designated to PR MkIV (recon) My big question is with the deletion of cannon and adding a camera port on the fuselage painted in overall PRU blue would this be possible? I'm not going to smash mold a canopy so I'll live with the stock one supplied in the kit. Thanks a million guys for helping guy with his new love affair. Take care, Jeff

THANK YOU IAN!! I just looked at this and so far so good. I might be a little limited ion marking though as this is 1/24.

Agh come on Geoff in that scale you could paint them. Even I might be able to paint them in that scale.....???

I would say find the aircraft you wish to depict and get searching.

I have yet to do a PR Spitfire, so I will be digging around as well as following this.

Your right Ian. From what I've seen its just roundels and a few codes. I really need some good profile drawings to figure out the camera location So I'll post some links if I can find some.
