    Best 109& 190 kits?

    Hello all:

Just wondering which Me 109 and Fw 190 kits are the best in terms of quality, ease of build and accuracy on the market in 1/48 and 1/72?

There are sooo many, just can't seem to decide:thinking:

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    hasegawa mate. all the way.

they can be expensive, it depends on what version you are looking at getting...and what scale.

I agree with RJ, I have the "Black six" messerschmidt in 1:48th scale and its really nice in my opinion. Its made by hasegawa.

      have a good day,

      Greg

and Richard, I love your Klingon Battlecruiser!!
thanks :bigthumb: i made it for my dad for Fathers day a few years ago.

take a look of a good range of hasegawa 1/48 109s here:

i really like this nice release. a few for the stash me thinks (i think this is a limited run one so it might be worth a few bob in a year or two)

          Hannants - Hasegawa HASP256 - 1:48

or there is their newest release the bf-109E nightfighter but thats about £25 once you include shipping!

For ease of Build the Tamiya 48th 109's are great. Though personally the Hasegawa just has the edge, the etch grills and armour plate are superb.

If you look at the pic I just posted there is a mixture of Tamiya/Hasegawa and Airfix amongst the 109's, when they are on the wall it's difficult to tell which one is which.

Just depends on what you want at the end of the day.

for 72nd (not a scale I do anymore for aircraft) I still have a soft spot for the old Matchbox 109. Don't laugh, I think it's cute.

:shhhh: though for years I thought the JG27 emblem was a pirate *giggles* I don't think it was me, just bad decals I guess. I can't fault anything else on it though.

            Love,

Thank You. I still have another half dozen or so to build and with the Eduard 110's out I'll have to re-configure the wall. Maybe I should have gone to the Aircraft School of Handling to lean how to park them poperly

Those are some might fine 109's. How 'bout some closer pics?

I will be going with the Hasegawa 109's for sure, thanks for the info.

How about the Eduard Fw 190's. They are supposedly pretty nice but I have not heard from anyone yet.

I guess what I am looking for mostly is a good fit with the parts. Sanding and filling is not my favorite really.

The latest MAI magazine has a good build of the new Eduard 110E.

I just may have to pick one up myself, the prices on them are pretty good over here at the moment.:dancing1:
