    modelscale 1/48 harvard/Esci 1/72 He-111

    modelcraft 1/48 harvard/Esci 1/72 He-111

I was given the modelcraft (goldilocks) version of the Harvard for Christmas. I'd like to use the Eduard etched part kits to enhance it. However, all of them refer to kits made by Heller, and Occidental and even on Hannants website it makes no mention of suitability for the Modelcraft. Has anyone used the Eduard accessories on the Modelcraft kitand if so, did it make any difference?

I have the same problem with an old Esci He-111 kit. I've found a magazine article using Eduard kits with the Hasagawa kit, but again no reference to the Esci. Should I sell the ESCI one and buy the Hasagawa or can I put the Eduard parts in the Esci?

    Thanks

One thing to do is see if Eduard has sets for the Italieri kit. Esci is no longer in business, but many/most of the Esci molds are now owned by Italieri and are still being produced. Otherwise, a set for the Hasegawa kit could be made to work. Just compare your kit with what is shown in the instructions and modify accordingly. The same for the Heller set for Modelcraft.
