    Airplane help

I am normally associated with tugs but have been asked to help regarding a tank steer plane and the repair or replacement of the main wing.

I know nothing of the flying machines and so come to the experts.

    some info on model.

    Model maker NIKKO

    Model type Tsubasa 700

Wing size tip to tip 680mm

    Wing depth (widest point) 110mm

    Wing thickness 4mm

Span lift from center 20 to 30mm (cant be accurate due to damage

wing construction compressed and coated styrene??

I hope that there may be some assistance for this small problem.

    R,
    Hi Mate,

Some manufacturers of these type of models suppy repacement parts for this very reason. Have you looked them up on the net and checked their site out for possible replacement.

:goodidea:Hi Sky Raider, yes did try that as the first port of call but they say that they no longer make the model and wish me luck in finding a wing.

So next was fleabay to see if a S/H was about that turned up zilch then thought about all the true flyboys who make their machines so came here :grinball2: not in any rush to do this job it is only for my ships captain and his son.

May be there is a way to make a new wing??

stands back and waits for deluge of replies
