    Hellcat help

Hello to everyone, it´s the first time i post on this forum. I am basically a 1/35 creature, but my kids are always trying to get me into planes. That`s why i decided to give it a try and bought a 1/48 Hellcat. Since I am a newbie to this part of the hobby, every single piece of advice will be aprecciated, but my main question is about painting. I know i am not very specific but as i said am used to build military vehicles and i guess there would be a lot of tips you guys can share. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome. I think you will find that armour and aircraft modellers share most techniques. When consructing aircraft you must remember that you won't be able to hide a bad seam under a sandbag or clump of mud! As far as painting goes aircraft generally have a cleaner finish but the wonderful weathering techniques that armour builders use can still be applied, just in moderation.

If you have any specific questions about particular aircraft just ask away, we'll try to give you answers
