Picture of Instrument panel of tamiyas new Spitfire Mk.IXc 1:32

I hope this picture shows up the last time it didn't

I am building this model mostly out of the box.

I have not completely detailed it yet, I got a little excited, I will try and post more pictures later today. :dancing1:

    Wow, that looks great!

    Is the detail painted on?

Can't wait to see the rest of the plane, well done.

      Thanks for the compliment.

The instrument gauges are decals put on the back of 3 clear lenses and then the lenses are put into the back. This is the first time I have built this complex of a kit. The lights for the landing gear are painted and the red labels are painted on there were no decals for those in the kit. The kit comes with a reference guide and some nice close ups of the interior and engine from real aircraft in museums. Then I dry brushed the panel. I haven't used a wash yet.

        Wow Junkers,

I love the detailing on the instrument panel. Pro job you're doing there. At 1:32 scale I would say that this piece is about an inch high, so those dials are pretty small to say the least. Excellent work mate! Keep the progress pics coming mate as I am very interested in buying one of these 1:32 Tamiya Spits.
