Hello all the completed cockpit of a 1:32 spitfire

Hello all I finally finished the cockpit of my Tamiya Spitfire Mk.IXc 1:32

Here are some photos for you to enjoy. That cockpit was probably half the kit itself. lane:

Very Nice work there Junkers and these pics will do me nicely for my next scale project, one that I have not officially anounced yet until now - Yep a 1/7th scale RC Spitfire Mk IX. I now have the plans in my possession and an OS 61 4 stroke engine on the way to power it.

Keep the pics coming as they will provide valuable scale info !!

    Regards........Mark.

wow, some fantastic detailing there Junkers!

I love the instrument panel dials and harnessing you have done there. I'm very keen to see how this build evolves mate. Well done! 5 stars to you!

Very nice. I hope to start mine after Crimbo, work permitting. Keep us posted,it's always good to see how others tackle a project.

Any idea which machine you will finish this as?

Mark, 1/7 scale would have a wingspan of ...errrr... a lot! That will be something to see.

        Cheers

        Steve

Superb attention to detail Junkers, well done.....

You flyguys get my vote every time I look at your work.

I don't post much regarding aircraft 'cos I build armour. Non the less I always watch progress with interest.

You all deserve the 'big 5' for the detail and attention to the correct colour, now armour....!!

Thank you for your compliments. I am building the kit as box stock but I have been checking the color call outs to see if they are accurate, and so far they have been good. I love this kit, I normally don't buy kits that are this costly but every once and a while you have to treat yourself. I am going to try and get the cockpit installed and glue the fusalage together today. I have a Dragon Tiger early 3n1 kit on the go as well, armour is fun for me as well.

Excellent work indeed. If the rest of your build is as good as this, we're in for a real treat!

I can only agree with you there Gern, Looking forwards to seeing more of this one.

Steve - Wingspan of my project is 62.5 inches - it is the Tony Nijhuis plan.

                Regards.........Mark.

Thanks, I just finished installing the cockpit in the fusalage yesterday. I just finished assembling the landing gear bays and painting them. I jut need to assemble the wings and then I can attach them. I am probably half way there. I am hoping to take photos tomorrow.
