      Lovely job Curt , if you don`t mind me saying - if it was my model I would make a basic grass dio base then splash out for a nice perspex lid just to finnish it off , the standard of your spitfire is 1st class mate and needs to be displayed.

        My wife keeps bugging me to make bases for my models, I might try and make a simple base for this one. No you aren`t being rude, suggestions are always appreciated. Thanks.

            That is superb mate the detail in the engine and cockpit is amazing the paint job is lovely as i have said iam not an aircraft person but i know what i like and i do like this so iam going to give you the big five stars.

                I found your pic's. This Spitfire you've produced is brilliant - well done, if it was mine, I wouldn't want that engine covered up, it's too good to hide. Nice one
