I could do with some advice

    Gents

I'm currently building a 1:72 scale C-47. I've managed to cut out the left side door near the cockpit and now I need to make a ladder. What would be the best way to make this ladder?

    Many thanks in advance

    Regards

I would have thought plastic rod. You would need to research the ladder for what section the material is in and to get some scale sizes. Alternative would be to use wire of some kind but this would be harder to join unless you can do butt soldering at that size. It may also be worth making a jig of some kind, a block of high density foam or MDF with saw cuts for the rungs of the ladder to ensure the spacing is accurate and, more importantly, consistent to the real thing.

Having said that, I have never tackled anything like this so there will be better ideas coming along.
