    MQ-4 Global Hawk

I am doing a project for a CAD class, and plan to draft a Global Hawk UCAV. I want to find a model to help me design on the computer, but cannot find any decent models. The only ones I have seen have been wood carved ones for well over my budget. Does anyone know where I can find a set or prebuilt MQ4 Ucav for less than $50

Well there must be one as the PDF Building_the_MQ-1b_predator.pdf demonstrates. As does .jadarhobby.pl This is the model in the first PDF document, about $18 IPMS/USA Kit Review: Accurate Miniatures 1/72 RQ-1 Predator UAV

Appreciated, but not quite the bird I am looking for. I may choose to do the Predator instead of the Global Hawk, simply because of the model. I just think the Global Hawk would be easier to draft in the program.

Whoops sorry, didn't read your post closely enough.

Not a problem. Im starting to look at doing the Predator instead.

Also, because I am a complete nooblett when it comes to models, what should I expect with, for instance, the model you suggested? I have never made a model set before.

I would have a read of the PDF in the first link I posted, it describes what will be quite a simple resin kit. I doubt it would take too much other than careful cleaning up of the parts prior to glueing together. As there will not be that many parts to this, it should be fairly simple. In 1/72 scale though it will not be huge but again, you should get some idea from the PDF. There are some really talented modellers on this forum who will be only to happy to help out with specific questions about modelling techniques.

Yeah, I glanced through it. One of the things I am worried about is the gluing... As I said, never really tried to do that. Also, how is it painted, just a color is said what it is supposed to be, and you paint, or...what? Sorry for all the troubles
