    F-14B super Tomcat ITALERI No.839 1:48

Hi all, my son inlaw the BOOT SALE KING got me this kit for a pound at one of the bootsales he goes to. I don't know how old the kit is but it appears to be all there. I was wondering if anyone had built it before and what was thier thoughts on it, also anything I should be on the look out for in the build.

The detail looks very good and the wings swing as well. Anyone got any ideas on how you can make the undercarrage retract as when I was a kid I'm sure that some kits used to do this, a penny for your thoughts on it welcome. I hope to post some photos of the build as I go.

Graham the sprues look the same as my kit although the box art is different, but like you say for a quid not bad and I never had to pay him either, mind you thats what son-inlaws are for.

I hope that's true 'cos I'm getting one on Saturday. A son-in-law that is, not a Tomcat!

.... yeah. This one's a good lad, but I wish I'd got a Tomcat instead of my other son-in-law!

Still. Not my choice an' she seems happy enough so who am I to question her decision?
