The absolute best way would be to obtain or make a mask. I would start by spraying the white; mask off the bits that sould stay white, then spray the grey. Leaving the mask on the white, mask the grey off then spray the green.

If you need to make a mask, youcan to some degree of success, photocopy the paining guide and enlarge it to actual (so it fits the kit) size. There will be problems as the guide is flat and your kit is not. This can be dodged round with a bit of masking tape.

OK sounds simple enough. Hell I can do it so it cant be toooooo hard.

    Hope this is helpfull.

okay so this ov-ioa bronco kit is from when my dad was my age (35 yrs old) and its missing a wheel and the seat. as he was making it he joined the USMC so he had to stop. i was thinking about making it look as if the plane crashed. whats the best way to make it look as though it has dirt and scratches on its right wing? i also wanted to make it look like the the right wheel blew off can i use crushed up kids chalk like brown for the dirt?

hi jake, ians got it all covered in his reply. As for the crushed up chalk, a few modellers on here have used it to great effect on their armour models, check out centurion3rtr's kv1 thread, so i dont think you should have any problems doing this, good luck and dont forget to post us some pics , cheers tony
