Codes on the green and blue maybe?

I also assume that there were many different variations on these things and to pinpoint a "correct" one will be hard.

I am surprized as to how well the dowl/drill/sander idea worked! Did these V1's have any pannellines that would be visabe in 1/72?

Hi let me look at the books and models I have here. You are correct there was may different variations, most changes were the warheads that was used and fuse positions. Tony.

Depending on which version you are building the paint scheme does change per variation. Tony

Paint for Fi103/V1 RLM 65 and RLM 71 or RLM 83. No national markings were used, operational and handling instructions were painted on the fuselage in black or on the top and tail in white.

I have completed the fuselarge/ tail and pod assembly ready for painting.Need to shape the wings from pesrpex today.

My V1 may not be as close to scale as the kits, but it will give the effect I want anyway.

                Pix later

Here is the VERY basic 1/72 V-1 so far. I need to still make and add the ranging prop.It is not in pristene condition, I doubd if the real ones were either as it was intended as a weapon.

Pleas tell me what the settings are for "normal" font, as you can see I somehow messed it up!

Tony the tail is from left over kit plastic and the wings were shaped from solid 2mm Perspex sheet I had around the house.

What I like about this "build" is that it cost me absolutly nothing except a few hours of work LOL!

At 72nd scale it is rather small and fidly to do but I am sure the effect with the Typhoon or Spitty will work well.Maybe I will get on next week or so.
