    Future Projects?

    I've been talking to bikerbart about this already but i try and plan a few builds in advance. This one is starting to take shape. Still need to get some more after market stuff for it before i can start it though. So far i have;

    1/32 Revell Tornado IDS

    Paragon Designs Flaps & Slats

    SAC White Metal Undercarriage Set

    Reheat Models Tornado Crew Figures

Still waiting for the GR4 conversion from TwoMikes to become available again and also want to get some weapons for it. Goig to have to try and get the Boz Pod too. If i can't i'll scratch build it.

Also this model could be special if i can pull something off. Just waiting for some info to come first before i attempt it.

So what projects have you got planned?

    Hi Al

Nice Typhoon project you got there!

After the GB I'll be returning to my Luftwaffe Forest dio and finishing the 2 FW190 Ds (One with PE flaps) and also the ME262 1a Schwalbe with Verlinden detail set (including engine, flaps and slats) and Eduard cockpit PE.

    This is the thread.

    http://www.scale-models.co.uk/dioramas/9673-forest-luftwaffe-hide-out-3.html

Also got to finish my Honda Civic R type which is now black in colour (sprayed with Alclad Black - looks good and shiny) - trying to make a replica of a car I owned a few years back.

After that I'm going to start the 1/16 RC Tiger (I think)

The real problem is finding the time to do them!

    Cheers

    Paul

Sorry, that's my modeling dyslexia for you! I meant to say Tornado! I have got a Typhoon waiting in the stash together with PE flaps and detailing (must have got that stuck in the back of my mind).

        Feeling quite foolish now! lol:surrender:

        Cheers

I've got a Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire which I'm eyeing up in my cupboard. Noone has built one here yet so that maybe next.

I have started looking at the Airfix 1:48 Jaguar for my Gulf War "Katrina Jane". Have to say that the surface detail looks very nice although the cockpit is basic. No worries there though as it is not that visible. There is quite a bit of flash and there are some sink holes that will need taking care of. Not sure of the age of the kit but at least it is engraved panel lines. I think this is going to be fun after being spoiled with Eduard aircraft and Tamiya bikes and armour. I feel a bit of real modelling coming on.

Sometimes getting back to basics is fun Graham. I'm not ready to start the Tornado yet as i seriously need some info on something. But i have just found a new technique for something and i'm dying to try it out. More will be revealed after the GB lol

As of this morning I'm decorating. Senior management have already ordered me to move furniture from daughter number two's old bedroom and stack it in my modelling room.....the horror. I complained that I couldn't even get to my book cupboard without crampons and 200' of rope only to be told that I wouldn't have time for any reading anyway. I managed to retrieve an Ullmann and both Merricks to follow the early 109 debate and also grabbed a history of JV44 in an effort to second guess Theuns' Me262!

All operations suspended whilst I decorate a bedroom in record time!

                      Cheers

Steve (trying to see the funny side)

                          Well lets see:

Having purchased a set of Xtradecals for 74 squadron; Tiger squadron, I am busy haunting the net for the required victims. has decals for all of tiger sq aircraft from the SE5A to the phantoms, which are proving very hard to find!

Seen to have gotten a FAA thing going to.

Anyway sitting in the things to do pile are: (all in 1/48) Airfix Buccaneer and Harier GR3, togther with a Lightning F1. Still Waiting on the Jaguar and really need to get hold of an F6 lighning!

Then there is the Tornado ADV from Hobby boss. (Just watching the excellent build thread at the moment).

(Would the person that got me started on jets please stand up so I can say thanks....)

Still got a couple of Spitfires, gathering dust, and Need that new 109 for a dogfight over my desk!!!

So not much happening at the moment, lol.

Right now I am just waiting for the varnish to dry on a Trumpeter Sea fury to dry so I can Decal it!

Ian, No. 74 Squadron were based on RAF Leuchars, Scotland on several occasions, some of your decal 'victims' could be English Electric Lightnings F1 and F6 or the Phantom FGR2. The RAF inherited all their Phantoms from the Royal Navy, so for the Phantom the Hasegawa 1/48 Royal Navy Phantom would be a good building block. Cheers Derek
