    EE Lightning Fans

For those of you like me, who love the EE Lightning, I was in W.H. Smith yesterday and bought the 'Aviation Classics' Magazine which this month is entirely devoted to the Lightning - all 128 Pages. See details below. Cheers Derek

Aviation Classics: An insight into historic aircraft - The P-51 Mustang

p.s. their next months edition is devoted to the Battle of Britain which will suit those of you who like their aircraft with propellers.

Hi Derek. That looks very tempting. Just one thing I would like to know before I make an order: Whats it like? I know I can save a bit buy subscribing, but I think I would like to just buy one once in a while.

Hi Ian, I don't subscribe to any magazine, I just go into WH Smith and flick through the magazines and only if there is a model I have or plan to make I get it. I have never bought the magazine above before, but am a sucker for all things Lightning so had to have it. It a great keep sake. Cheers Derek

Unfortunatly its rather a long way to the nearst WHSmiths from here! Even worse, magasines such as those vary rarely make it to these shores!!! :-(

Does look a good read though. I was very close to signing up. Maybe I'll grab one later as a back issue.
