    1/35 Civilian Aircraft

I'm just about to start buying up the kits I need for a couple of dioramas I'm planning and have a quick question.

Are there any civilian type planes or helicopters in the 1/35 scale?

All I've managed to find so far is the Bronco Models Piper L-4H Cub Grasshopper.

Other than this it would have to be a converted military type (which is fine).

The plane/helicopter is going to be a civilian criminal aircraft (of the kind that could be used for drug or gun running).

Any help with this would be great.

I have to admit to not being much help on this front, but the details you've given sound very very interesting... I know Revell and Hasegawa make some Biz-jets in 1:48 and a few Civi light aircraft in 1:32 so that may help you...

I'd be interested to hear more on this idea...

      Hey Stuart.

Well, this is possibly going to be my Spring project.

I have to finish a Wallace and Gromit model I'm doing for one of my kids then get a few cheapies from ebay to get back into the swing of things and brush up on my painting skills (no groaning at the awful pun, please).

Then I have a middle east diorama planned.

Depending on the time scales (and the fact that I have two kids and have been known to be a bit lazy) I may get around to this project in the Spring of 2014!

So, this particular one I'm keeping quiet about at the moment.

Is there much difference in size between 1/35 and 1/32?

I will also have a 1/35 vehicle and between four and six 1/35 figures as part of the diorama.

Would a 1/32 plane or chopper look really out of place?

      Cheers

      Drew
