    ME 262 night figter?

Can anyone tell me if there was any visual differences between the "normal" ME 262 and the night figter 262? Did all the NF 262's have the arial arangement on the nose and were 2 seaters?

I have a 262 bomber version and would like the convert to a NF if not to much "work" is called for

    Thanx

If you refer to this site you will see the night fighter was longer fuselaged so a conversion is a bit more involved:

Me-262B, Night Fighter - Interceptor, Luftwaffe

There is also a lot of useful history here:

The Messerschmitt Me-262 Schwalbe / Sturmvogel

Also the Me262 A-1a/U2 was a nightfighter version. This was the 'normal' shape

        Great links ,thanx!

I have the 262a2 bomber one, so it seems that my idea will not work. I will just do a nice little Lufftwaffe airfield dio with it.

You could always treat yourself to one of these as well:

Trumpeter 1/32 Me-262B Night Fighter by Tom Cleaver

Then you get the best of both worlds.
