Best F-15E strike eagle in 1/48

I'm thinking of building a strike eagle in 1/48 after a search online I can see its between the Academy or hasegawa. Which would you recommend for me.

I reckon they would both be very good jon , maybe the Hasegawa might be slightly more detailed , but the academy is probably half the price of it. Another thing to watch out for is that hasegawa sometimes have a nasty habit of not supplying any stores in their kits , whereas the academy will have them. I guess its a case of you pays your money and you takes your choice ,- me personally? I'd go for the academy , should be better value (but then I am from yorkshire!!) cheers tony

The Academy Strike Eagle is garbage...... The fit is horrible... the details are bad.... I would go with the hasegawa any day

I built the Hasegawa kit some years ago and remember it as being very good.I've got the Revell one in my stash and it looks ok.Depends how much you want to spend.

Forgot to mention my Revell F15E is the Tiger meet one and there are no stores in the kit.
