Hi, can you not take a new scalpel blade and tamiya tape and cut a spiral mask - or even, if you have a steady hand and an 0 or 00 long hair brush, paint on spiral by carefully turning the spinner as you go. If you think too difficult try contacting Hasegawa for a spare set. -

I'm looking through my spares box at the mo. Is the spiral white? What about using the edge rules on a spare decal sheet and carefully winding it round - realise it must be difficult if blades are on spinner. Will stay on the case...Comment

I've got a load of spinner spiral decals. I definitely have one for a Ta 152 which should be close. I've also got various ones for regular Fw 190s which might well conform with a bit of Microsol or similar.
If you want them PM me an address and I'll pop the Ta 152 and one most like it in the post.
Cheers

I've got a few sky bands - beige/white - in colour spirals could possibly be cut out as they already have a curve to them.Comment

Thanks everyone for the offers of help, I ended up masking it on with some tamiya tape and it turned out pretty well, I will be posting pics when finished to get some pointers as this is my first ever plane, so some things went wrong (decals lol)Comment
