Hobbyboss 1:48th kits at £11?

I was in a local model shop and noticed on his shelves some Hobbyboss kist all in 1:48th and all priced at £10.99, I'm just wondering if anyone has built one of these, I'm pretty sure one was a P41 Mustang and the other a P40, but they guy in the shop says theer are 4 in the series.

    Cheers

Hi Adrian not built them yet but i have 2 1/72 kits from Hobbyboss and there's some great detail in them So if the 1/48 kits are as good as the 1/72 should be well worth gettig some at £11

Hi adrian , ive seen these too , i think they are in a similar vein to the 1/72 easy build kits , ie. good detail but quick assembly and not too many parts. Ive seen a p51 mustang , p40 , and a p47 thunderbolt plus a Uh1 Huey , all in 1/48 . cheers tony

I was in Mr Models in Bearwood, great friendly shop, though pick when you go carefully if there has been a model show recently you may find it hard to get around in theer as they stack everything up on the shop floor

Just a quick shameless plug,,The Aero Space & Vehicle Club that I'm a member of is holding a model show on 2nd Sept at The Community Centre. Church Road Wombourne WV5 9EZ, we'll be there from 10am till 4pm with a lot of other local clubs if you fancy a few hours out

I made their Tornado ADV at 1/48, an excellent kit. Grab them while you can.

I know Mr Models well as it's not far from where I grew up. I thought perhaps i'd missed one Willenhall way.

Glad you mentioned your show - unless we have something planned that the wife has yet to enlighten me about i'll definitely come and have a look.

              Cheers,
