    They both look good, but the the top side looks better, especially because it's not matt like mine.

      I'm a bit late sorry, but the colour I used on my old Airfix Zero was Humbrol 28 matt, AKA 'camouflage grey'. This was closer to the early war IJN off-white colour than the Humbrol 90 'sky' that Airfix have for some reason put on your kit scheme. Hope this helps!

        As Theuns said, the 90 is sky, commonly found on the undersides of early-war RAF aircraft.

          I was in my local hobby craft tonight and they had the Tamiya xf 12 paint but they never had the acrylic thinner so i never bought the paint.

            I thin my tamiya acrylics with isopro alcohol from the chemist and it works perfectly, and bets of all way cheaper than tamiya thinners.
