The Piaggio Avanti P.180 is a unique twin engined canard pusher design produced by this famous Italian company, breaking away from conventional designs has produced a very clean aerodynamic shape with excellent performance curves.
As a modelling project the design offers some challenges in miniature
including making a fuselage possibly from two built up shells, these could be planked from nose to tail and then covered with thin PVA based glasscloth.
A one piece wing could be slotted and faired into the aft centre section leaving all radio equipment well forward to preserve the centre of gravity.
Even the cockpit shape should not present too many problems,it could easily be a wrap around type.
