1:72 Revell Boston - anyone done it?

Been away from the hobby for a year and re-introducing myself with this kit after being inspired to do so by a WW2 veteran in the extended family!

Just wondering if anyone else has built this kit on here - there's a few reports on the web I know but thought I'd ask here anyway. Not exactly a build-with-you-eyes-closed affair, wondered if it was just me or whether others had had the same issues ;-)

Hi rob , welcome back to the forum matey. Ive not built the boston but i believe its a rebox of the MPM kit ,so should be nicely detailed , although i have read a few reports of the clear nose parts being a bit of a dodgy fit , might need a bit of fettling. Im sure with a bit of careful dry fitting and adjustment it should be ok . looking forward to seeing the build , cheers tony

Hi there Tony, yeah that was pretty much what I'd got from the web. Detail *is* nice but some of the fit isn't so great - maybe I'm just out of practice ;-)
