A quick dig reveals that the 107 was at Gt. Massingham reforming with Boston aircraft. That would of been '41 -'42. September '42 they where detached to Charmy Down, then on to Hartford Bridge in August of '43.

Your Welcome. That picture you just posted. I think the bottom surfaces would, as Steve pointed out, been Sky (Duck egg green to you and me) and not Grey.

Hey guys - got a bit more info - he recalls that he was in 107RH squadron - does that sound right at all?? Based in West Raynham - near Massingham?Does any of this info help?

According to my book 'Military airfields of east anglia' Great Massingham was a satalite of West Raynham.So the squadron would posibly have used both stations .
