What can I do with this spitfire?

I bought a mark1 spitfire tonight for £2.40. IT'S all the change I had on me. It's an sordid starter set but the paints were missing, no big deal.

So I'm wondering if another paint scheme and decals could be used. Maybe even German. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Paint it up as an airshow racer that way you can do it in any colours you want (I did that with a bf109).

Why not? The earliest "pink" photo reconnaissance Spitfires were indeed converted Mk1s

          RAF Reconnaissance Aircraft

The "pink" seems to have been almost white with just the faintest hint of red about it.

There was a very pink restoration which is a bit misleading but then a private owner, just like you,can paint his Spitfire in whatever way he fancies!

          Cheers

          Steve
