    Gluing on the canopy

Folks, What is the best and neatest way to glue the canopy parts to the fuselage? Currently I am using 5 min epoxy to avoid marring the clear plastic. I also pre-coat the pieces with Future acrylic solution.

I always use 'Klear' floor polish (same stuff as you coat your canopies in) wicked on with a fine brush. Cheers Derek

      I use both of these.

I prefer the GS Hypo. It is very sticky, you won't have trouble with bits slipping around. It doesn't expand either and sticks like you know what to a blanket.

      Cheers

All of the above, and if you have given the canopy 'klear' first, you can also use CA. The klear should protect the plastic from fogging....

I normally use either Gator grip glue or micro scales, kristal klear.

PVA glue for all transparent bits for me ... dries clear, easy to apply, easy to clean up, also if the bit moves when drying it's easy to prise the part off and clean it to re-apply.

You can also tint the PVA with acrylic colour to save painting lenses after attaching.
