Just ordered this!

I'm thinking ahead to next years Group builds and there is so much variety I thought it would be a good time to broaden my modelling horizons. The Harrier build grabbed my attention. I remember seeing them take a bow at Fairford a few years ago. Very impressive.
Until now I've only ever built things with wings that keep them on the ground so this is a big departure for me. Looking around on here there are some stunning aircraft builds but it seems like a totally different discipline. I've hopefully played it safe by going for a larger scale and sticking to a manufacturer that I'm familiar with!
I'm warning you all now; what I know about planes can be written twice on the back of a stamp so please bear with me as in the run up to March 2014 I may well be asking some odd/ridiculous questions in pursuit of a half decent result....
Can't wait to get started.
