Where would I put this ?

I've decided to present my Hurricane better and was wondering what forum section to put it in

Is it a completed aircraft or diorama ?

Just thought I'd ask to save you mods some time having to move it later

Hmmm according to the ''rules'' mentioned here and elsewhere

Its a dio because its on a base and there's other items included.

      And...........

Its a stand alone as the aircraft is the main focal point.

Me personally .... I'd go for a little dio.

I would say dio as the plane looks like it is being gaurded wich in it's self tells a story

What's the story behind it Alan? If there is a story then it is a dio, if it is just a plane on a board then it could be classed as just a stand alone.

Story is either a hurricane being out of juice and landed to nick some fuel or being prepared for a patrol

It all depends on what figures i can scrounge or mutilate

If you're adding more figures and equipment then its definitely a dio when its done, end of story!

Diorama.....If the aircraft was just sat on it's own then it's not......That's my understanding.

Just one question , would things like ammo boxes and fuel drums be painted in a desert scheme ?

Not always, many are just dark camo green colour. My Grandad, who was in the desert told me that ammo and fuel stores where buried, holes dug and the stores put into them surrounded by stones.

                        Yep a Dio.

Oil drums any colour you like. Dark green, black or sand.

Jerry cans more likely in the "local" camouflage colour. Though having said that they can just as well be green as well.

                        Confused?

i think that if it has more than one figure then it is classed as a diorama, sure i read that somewhere
