New here would like to ask a question?

    Hi all

As the tittle says I am new here so sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I have started to get back into scale modeling and have got hold of a few kits sadly one of them is an Italeri 1:72 scale F-15E strike eagle but it is missing the back part of the canopy.

does anyone know where I can buy model parts on there own.

I have tried ebay but have had no joy.

    Many Thanks Paul

    Welcome to SMF Paul.

You could always try contacting Italeri, some manufacturers have been known to send out parts for little more than the price of postage.

      Hi Paul and welcome.

With Airfix Revell Tamiya you can get replacements by getting into touch with the relevant manufacturers. They provide a service. As Andy has said they should help.

Can you not take the kit back as it is the responsibility of the seller to get the part missing ie not fit for the purpose it was sold for. I have had parts missing and the supplier has replaced the bits.

Hi Paul and a warm welcome to the forum. Good luck with the canopy, as the lads have said quite often the manufacturer is more than happy to help out with missing pieces.
