    Airfix 1/48 Ju87b Stuka

Recently, I received the Airfix 1/48 Ju87b Stuka and found that the fuselage and wings are extremely detailed in terms of riveting. Although they are raised, I am quite impressed with the rivets as apparently, this is an old kit and as far as I know, eduard is one of the rare manufacturers that do full riveting-but as eduard do it, they make recessed rivets. It's age shows with the cockpit and interior, however, this can be corrected with Eduard's hasegawa Ju87B zoom or full PE set. I have the zoom set as this is enough to add detail. Hopefully, I will do this as a build with an airbrush for the first time in two weeks.

Look forward to how you get on with this John, especially AB for the first time a large kit.

I built one and thought it was a nice kit considering its age.I sanded off the rivets and scribed the panel lines.not because I think it's more accurate but because I prefer recessed detail.

Looking forward to what you make of the Airfix kit John. The Stuka is a great looking aircraft I know because I'm on the final furlong of finishing one myself!
