    What's this

    A serious question. Can anyone identify this aircraft from what we see of it here. I honestly have no idea what it is.

    I can't give a source for the picture either,it'll be from the internet. I just found it in a "various" folder on my HD which doesn't help much!

        Thanks very much Allyne. I'm sure you are correct. The tail wheel assembly and "cut away" rudder are spot on.

          Not exactly what you would call an exciting ride is it? Still they can't all be glamorous Spitfires!

            You're right there Richard. Functional springs to mind. I think they had a puny 250HP at their disposal!

              Fascinating. Looking at the tail in Steve's photo it looks as though it will fold up flat against the fin.
