    Smartiepant's Camper

rather than hijack a previous thread I thought I would start mine

first model I have made in about 35 years finally made a start & spending a small fortune on tools, paint & brushes after being given the kit at xmas

I am trying to replicate our own campervan, although is 34 years old is very original so other than paint there are no other modifications I have different wheels to the models but i'm not going to worry about that

here is my progress after a couple of weeks building, only done the underside & the engine & will make a start on the interior shortly

I will update when I have made further progress

That looks very nice Mr Pants! The engine is lovely & oily

Perhaps a moderator could move the thread to civilian cars?

Saw this in Jersey last week, immaculate pearl paint job.

Is yours going to be standard or modified?

Don't know your name, so smartiepants it has to be.....for now.

That's an excellent start. Very nice paintwork and weathering.

Gregg, that's an imposter.....where are the little roof windows, the widows at the rear corners and the chrome bumpers?.....Like the 'proper' one I had in the early 70's! lol
