    Austin Healey 6–100

So at the same time, I’m building the Firebird. I’m also working on this cool Austin Healey. My wife found for me in an antique shop. It had been opened, but every part was there. One of the most difficult models I’ve ever had to put together because I had to Glue the side panels onto the hood and the rear trunk panel, and then I had to put all the gaps and start sanding. It’s gonna take a little more doing, but when I finish, it will look like the picture on the box. Here’s what I have so far. Click image for larger version

ID:	1252554 well, I finally finished. This model was very difficult because I had to build The body out of separate side panels and top panels. When I finally got it together, the bumper was slightly crooked on the front only but can’t really tell unless you pick it apart.

That's really good 64, I had an Austin Healey many years ago - it had its own patent anti-theft device, the gear lever could be pulled out and stored in the boot! It looked good, the ladies loved it, but it was a mechanical wreck!

I got a passing grade in high school physics for synchronizing the teacher's SU carbs on his Austin Healey. Yours is a very nice rendering.

At one time I planned to sell my TR4A and buy an Austin Healey to restore, but I thought better of it.

That's a great result. Looks like the box art.
