This looks really good so far. No wonder you are disappointed with the decals. I had the same happen with some of mine. I used really really hot water in the end and saved nearly all of them. I could not get them working with warm water at first No matter how I tried.
I'm sure you will be happy with the end result.
agree not to throw out the paints. There will always be a use for them. The Tamiya acrylics spray great. I have also bought some zero paints and although I haven't tried the base colours yet the clear coat is excellent.Comment

Ok heading towards the finish line on this one. What a terrible terrible kit. Nothing fitted correctly, the decals were useless, and really it shows how far kits have come since the 1990's as that was when this kit was made.
My next update will be the completed model. I had to remove the windscreen as the decal that goes on the inside started peeling so I whipped it off masked it and painted it instead.

I love the engine & parts, the painting is great and it looks very realistic. I know your frustrated by it but its still looking good and you will be learning all the time with it!Comment
