Revell 1/24 458 ITALIA

This is my first proper supercar build with no messing about, it is an out of the box build.

So far the engine is finished and both front and rear axels are fitted,

the body work is belive it or not humbrol acrylic gloss red for under coat and humbrol enamal red on top but with no reaction between the two.

Nice job, it's coming along nicely and the paintwork looks pretty neat and tidy. Look forward to more

Looking good Peter, thought you would have drilled your discs though...

I would have done but i havn't got a drill small enough and by the time i have had finished there would be nothing left of the disc

You kind of need to do this before painting but if you take a a fine needle and a candle, heat the needle just enough and push it through the holes and remove when fully cooled you get a much cleaner hole.

Now thats a good tip mate. Will keep that in mind. I also think the brakes would look good drilled but the rest of the build is looking good so far
