Okay replacement airbrush parts have arrived and I can get on with the final white primer coat and start misting on the colour.Comment

Did the final primer coat on main body thats waiting for another rub down and wash. I did the 1st mist coat on the bonnet and doors just to get that primer sealed in and a nice base. I also did a full rough coat underneath the bonnet just to establish exactly the correct tone so when i build up the mist coats i can match it to the underside of the bonnet.
Colour is looking lovely. Really lovley.

Bit more of tonight's progress. Body shell has main coat down. May have to lightly smooth it with finishing paper before the last colour coat goes down. And then onto clear.
Door and bonnet are next to get their main coat. And then ill do the last colour coat all together ready for clear.

Some more progress. Bonnet is complete, this is the aim im going for on the whole body.
4 coats of clear coat later. A rub down with 2000 grit then 4000 6000 8000 10000 12000 15000 and finish with lapping cream.

Whatever the minor mistakes are they must be extremely minor as that finish is beyond words. The depth of shine is greater than Mercedes could ever achieve and I would say it goes beyond Rolls Royce' legendary shine.Originally posted by \Comment

Some work making the doors fit better. And have a look under that bonnet. Touched it in a bit but had to do quite a bit of cutting and adjustment to get it to lay flush again. Might dirty it up a little and add a bit of light grime. Any suggestions without going ott?
Painted in the rubber seals too, and did a black pinwash on the boot shut to enhance the line.
