    McLaren MP4-23.

    So started adding the second car to my dream, mclaren garage and a mockup grid


    Started a couple of weeks ago and here is the progress from then till now.

    A couple more decals and a clear cote to go. Messed up a couple of decals though so might be a case of repurchasing the kit. Haven't told the other half yet tho lol

    I never built a F1....are they easy kits? Seems the decal part is the worst part...

      No way of using some aftermarket decals or do they cost the same as the kit


      Looks nice though mate, nice paint finish

        Like this one even though it's not the sort of thing I'd build, who's the kit manufacturer? Are the tyres rubber?

          Modern F1 cars are not my preference, I prefer the racing cars from the sixties and earlier, but it looks like you have made a nice job of it.

            They are about the same price yeh lol. It's a revel kit. They seem to be the main manufacturers of the f1 kits. Tamiya do a couple. The tyres are rubber I wasn't going to rub them down with some sand paper to make them look used. As to the kits. There not bad. Can be fiddly at times but the decals can be a night mare
