Dear colleagues,
Some time ago I started ambitious project. Fascinated with Triumph Tiger 80 I took a closer look on British motorisation of the thirties. I chose to scratch build a Bentley racing car. The particular car belonged to Dorothy Paget and won the Le Mans 24 hours endurance race. I also plan to build Sir Birkin's single seater and a boat tail Gurney Nutting coach. That is why I cast the parts with resin. Plus a couple of friends from polish model forum asked me to cast some more copies so they could have a Braille scale Bentley too.
But have a look on what I made so far:
Frame masters:

Some turned pieces:

Dry fitted frame parts:

First castings:

Assembly of the test resin parts:

Later used for dry fitting with other parts:

The engine master is ready:

So i the "blower":

Nice tight fit without any glue:

The shock absorbers initially were to be etched like on this photo, but then I decided to cast them (even Airfix's 1:12 Bentley has each absorber as one piece)

Some more details:

The fit is constantly tested:

I thermoformed the grill frame and the hood:

The grill master is ready:

Same as petrol tank:

Head light master (I made only one as both lamps are the same):

The battery rack:

I painted some parts to choose proper colour:

Finally it is time to scratch build the coach:

I started working on mudguards:

Meanwhile ordered decals arrived:

As you see this is rather unusual project and it consumes my zeal in huge rate. So I need your encourragement to finish it 9_9
