1/8 scratch build Jaguar C Type

I haven't posted anything about this one yet as - TBH - laziness over the Summer.

It began as a scrap shell left over from my first C Type build.
I was going to bin it in a garage clear out but decided to try to do something with it.
As time went on, it's grown into a complete build of the Ecurie Ecosse car number 19.

It was going to be a 'workshop' car with no wheels or bonnet, no door, one seat, up on axle stands.
It was also originally going to be old English white.
Now - a full car in flag blue.

For some strange reason, EVERY picture here is showing in reverse order to how I uploaded them!
The beginnings of the build is at the bottom - 'now' is at the top - ?

You will also see one 'daft' pic in the middle somewhere, where I sat my 250 GTO engine and chassis in the car to see how a Ferrari engine C Type might have looked.

        Hello you chaps.
        Many thanks for the comments.

I've started building up the cockpit, rear inner bodywork and suspension.

The cockpit tub is sorted and the transmission tunnel was cast in resin then wrapped with 5 metre of cord, bound at the edges, to replicate the look of the real car.
All made from sheet plastic but held together with screws in various places for strength and ability for future movement.
Also printed the decals and added a few.
Diff needs casting and positioning before I can do much more so in the meantime, I've started ANOTHER scratch car - 1/8 Lister Jaguar.
I'll post some stuff for that one a bit later.

        Roy.

Great model and fantastic body paintwork, I wish I could get a glossy finish like that.
