Re-shaped side panels, with woodgrain decals and port-holes....................

Also re-shaped coffin surfboard with woodgrain decal. All here will need a smidgen of paint to finish................

Seeing this and your previous build is making me want to do something very "different".

I'm thinking this will be a good quirky kit to mess with and stretch my imagination to it's limits. Another quirky idea I had was to make a space ship from a spitfire and call it "The Spitflyer".

You could also get a Kfz.15 Funkwagen, paint it in leopard print and put an African American with an afro in it as the driver and a ghetto blaster in the back seat then it really would be a funkwagen

Today's work, I've left the cross bars on the roof rack although they were only on there for the moulding process............

I've put a couple of coats of clear gloss on the Tamiya Candy Apple Green............................

I've test fitted and shaved a lot from both the hatch and the light pod, but scratched/chipped the paint and had to respray both. I may stick these in as trying to hinge them has proved difficult so far............

And I've fitted the tail lights..........................
