Finally clear coated and got the glass in and the mirrors on. Don't know why but the glass just didn't seem to fit well, especially the rear lights. Also headlamp glass wouldn't go on until I took out the headlamps again and re fit them best I could once the glass had set.

Cannot say this is my best build, a few niggles along the way but for the scale and price, it doesn't look too bad.

Superb Job Fenlander, I have one on the shelf that I need to get on with, but a few others to do first.

Nice car the Jag. Shame that they stink of Ford way to much these days.

                I'm guessing you've never owned a Jaguar...
They haven't had anything to with Ford for nearly 10 years.
OK - I'm biased having owned four, and currently have two - my XK (my avatar) and an XF.

You might as well say Lamborghini stinks of VW/Audi (...and they REALLY do...)
                or Ferrari stinks of Fiat.
or Rolls Royce stinks of VW...

Of course, each to their own.

                Lovely model though...

Nope. Never have never will, rather have a Bentley...
Fair comment Roy, but the last Jag I had the luck to drive was one of those wonderful ones with all the knobs and switches from a Ford (Mondeo I think). Spent the next many months teasing the owner about his new Ford. (He ended up selling it and bought a Fiat. Sorry meant Ferrari). I guess it's just one of those things that sticks in your mind.
Prefer my cars to be a bit more practical these days.

I have to admit the X-Type basically WAS a Mondeo.
Awful, awful car. It even came off the Mondeo production line.
Jaguar - and Ford - learned an expensive lesson there.

But these days, they really are practical cars. OK, maybe not my XK which is a tad thirsty - averages 14 mpg, but the XF is awesome.
                    Sorry for deviating the thread...
