Hi Andy. I joined because I stumbled on the earlier "concept" thread, having a sort of similar thing on the go at the mo. Have to say delightfully surprised to find and mighty impressed with your build, it shows you were having fun!
Mine's strictly commercial and different body format but still cutting and shutting Revell's finest. I'm inspired!

I'm glad you like it Gary and it would be good to see you start a build log on yours.

Other things came up so I've never finished the diorama scene for this, and to be honest the whole thing is in a million pieces right now as I knocked it flying the other day :crying:

Nooooo! Oh man, salvageable? Please say it is!

I'm a typical model butterfly flitting from one to the next never really finishing anything so at best I can promise some pics whens mine's complete but picture that flattish factory green or blue (haven't decided) strictly utilitarian short cab long trailer and second, shorter, towed dolly trailer. Am casting some panels to avoid buying 5 kits....3 was enough!

Yes, it should be. All of the cemented joints are intact, it's just the parts that were CA'd in place.

I can't say the same for my TV and tablet though, which both got smashed during the same "episode" :unamused:

Ouch. And ouch. I won't ask.
I think I'm glad I wasn't aware of your build as mine came in to focus, bar set so high I might not have bothered starting but 3 kits in and many an hour invested I'm as enthusiastic as ever. I'm no laureate but may start a "cousin of bendy bus" thread!

Yeah, go for it Gary. I saw the teaser picture and it looks a very interesting build.

Thanks for asking Steve, and sorry I've taken so long to reply, I've been trying to come up with an honest answer.

Truth is, not really. Thankfully these dark times come and go though, so I should bounce back soon enough :smiling3:

Stick with it Andy. This hobby is a good aid to mindfulness so try to do something, no matter how small, every day. I hope you improve very quickly...

You did some awesome work on this build Andy!
I hope you can get it repaired soon :thumb2:
Wish you the best, sometimes things fall so they can be picked back up! :thumb2:

                          Thanks Tim, Neil, Steven.

I don't want to drag this out as the less I dwell on my state of mind the better, but I really appreciate your thoughts, and thank God I have an amazingly supportive wife to help me through!

These damn things happen to us all Andy, its does knock the stuffing out of you. I can imagine how sick you felt.

Push on , get it glued back into its great shape. Certainly not a build to stop as It was so different and beautifully done.
                              YOU CAN DO IT.
