You've been cracking on with this at a fair old rate Andy :surprised:

Looking good - love the enamelled mugs and the marble effect worktops :thumb2:

Work of art Andy and great spot of creativity on the scratches with good observation and replication of the interior. For the gas bottle, to get a respectable result with the stenciling I would bluff by chipping it with the base red 'cos these things are reusable and get rubbed when in storage or shipping. Once you bring the image down to scale it'll look good anyway. :thumb2:

      Cheers,
      Richard

          Thanks all.

Andy - I've done a few full sized ones in recent years. Never again :smiling5:

I wasn't sure how the marble effect would come out, I just played around, but I'm really happy with how it looks. As for the gas bottle, at a real viewing size it looks ok but I guess it's the tiny details that can make all the difference.

                Thanks chaps.

I did a bit of spot priming on the trailer section this morning to see how the filler work was doing (not bad) but I've pretty much run out of it now. It'll give me chance to sort a few other bits out while I wait for it to arrive. I have other stuff but I'm really impressed with the new Mr Primer Surfacer, especially on bare plastic. Adheres like nothing I've used before (even at work) and sands great.

The marbling is amazing. The cups are perfect. The bodywork is excellent. I've found if you look at a subject from a distance that represents the image your trying to depict, the printing on it is easier to to do. The gas bottle might be easier with a pen. PaulE

Thanks for the great comments all, they are really appreciated!

Not much to show for today, just more filling and sanding. I'd class it a bit like cleaning up individual track links, not exactly exciting stuff but needs to be done and will be worth the effort (I hope!) :smiling3:

I used up my last drops of primer on this but thankfully I've found somewhere that has it in stock so I've ordered two. Same with my favourite GX-100 clear as that seems to be thin on the ground too, and I reckon I'll need a fair amount for both bodies.

Hi Andy brilliant scratch building your certainly up there with the best now, if his is what you can accomplished in the build stage the paint is going to be amazing, bring it on.

I reckon I'm a long way from that yet Pete, but it's very nice of you to say. I'm certainly really happy with how I'm progressing though. With so many of you to look up to it's bound to rub off on me I guess :smiling3:
