      Hi Mark
Much chopping and fitting going on. It certainly looks as if you're getting there.

Ok so the bit i was most not looking forward to is done ,ive now got a complete roof. The lump of plastic in the back is just to keep the back edge straight until the glues dry, next up is to join the body via the sills to make it more rigid as nothing can be stuck to the floorpan yet as theres gonna be a whole heap of interior to sort out and im still debating if i can makes some suitable hinges so ive got opening front doors, plus all the extra interior work this will create.Click image for larger version

Well i have been busy sanding and thanks to the white plastic being very thick the roof has levelled out quite nicely, there is a swage line on the beetle roof i have sanded into the white plastic to blend it in ,i have done away with the gutters as it gives a cleaner look and to fill and sand round them would be a nightmare, next i will reshape the tailgate and its aperture, also the engine lid will need to be sussed out and then it will ready for filler and many hours of sanding, oh joy!!Click image for larger version

Quick update, the tailgate has been narrowed by 7mm and the top of the window frame lowered about 3mm,headlining has been cut down to fit the cab section and i have started removing the chrome trims that are mould to the front half as there not on the rear half and not something i can replicate to match.Click image for larger version
