Hi All,
A brief preamble to this build. I've been suffering severe mojo loss since around July last year. It started with the Academy Tiger which I eventually finished, and since then I've picked a little bit at a couple of kits but just haven't really got anywhere with them.
As a dining room table modeller I had to pack everything away for Christmas so we could use the table, and I was determined when I set everything back up after Christmas that I would get back to building something. I'm no stranger to intricate or complicated builds (see my Ducati Superleggera if you don't believe me), but to get the mojo flowing I wanted to do something simple that would give a nice result. The obvious choice was a Tamiya car kit.
I had some Amazon vouchers for Christmas, so after a bit of a search I ordered this.

I've made a start with the body, cleaned up, primed white then painted with Tamiya TS12 Orange, decanted and applied by airbrush. I'll let this cure for a couple of days, flat it back and apply the decals.

In the meantime I have also started cleaning up the under-tray and running gear.
I have noticed that being out of practice has led to hand cramps when spraying, hopefully this will go away the more I do it. Going forward my plan is to concentrate on cars and bikes for a while, these are usually easy and stress free builds (until I start complicating things with AM parts), hopefully this will keep the mojo flowing.
