Munsters Koach & Drag-u-la.

I don't normally build car's but i saw this in my local model shop & thought "that's different let's give it a go", so home with me it came.

I will attempt to spray this one as it will give me a better finish, wish me luck.

    John.

Well my first impression out of the box is very disappointing, i at least expected the tyre's to be made of rubber, lack of detale in the engine's, no decals for the dash & at £45 squid on top of that it's a SPECIAL EDITION.

Or was i expecting to much from a amt kit ???.

Chears for doing a WIP John and for £45 i'd have thought you would have got a bit more in the way of kit but it looks ok other wise

Probably priced on its merit of the Munsters and not as a model. Shame but will still look forward to the thread.

            Cheers

              Used to love the Munsters!

The Limited edition price tag is due to it being in a nice tin, and not a cardboard box.

Still it will build up OK I think and I look forward to seeing what you can get out of it.

This is going to be one to watch come together, i'm sure there's plenty of images on the t'interweb that will enable you to fill in any missing detail John.

Thanks Colin, had a look on tinternet and there are plenty of pic's of it but there seem to be more than one built & they all differ in some way, so i will go with what looks best.

I will start work on it today, fingers X.

                  John.

Ok hear we go, this is what it looks like befor i take my knife / saw to it.

I have sanded some of the nobbly bits off & rounded off some of the edges to make them smoth.

I will cut the top half of the bodywork (cab) then i will cut out some of the doors.

I will also cut out the boot door & scratch build the inside, i think that will do for now.

Well i've made a start, decided to only cut out one door + the boot.

I have but on the second coat of primer ready for the to coat.

As u can see the firwall is a very bad fit so i will remove it & build my own.

Well that's it for the time being, till next time have fun.

                            John.
